Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of youth death.
- Every year, approximately 4,600 young people die by suicide(ages 15-24)
- For every completed suicide, there are 100-200 attempts
- 15.8% of youth stated that they considered suicide

-Changes in activities (neglecting appearance, responsibilities; drop in school performance)
-Changes in emotions (depression, anxiety, severe anger)
-Changes in behavior (aggressiveness, impulsiveness, losing interest, hurting oneself)
